Welcome to amazing journey into the History of the World Engineering, Science and Technology!

The Greek mathematician, philosopher and inventor Archimedes will meet you at the entrance to lead you, and your children, through a fantastic exhibition of humanity's creativity. Your children will leave the party with a basic knowledge of how contemporary technologies came to us throughout the ages. We make education dynamic with six different collections of machines, most of which are interactive, that your children can operate. It's an immersive experience that allows your children to participate in their own education.

Ancient and Mediaval Siege Engines

We have a siege tower with a battering ram and ten catapults including the Trebuchet, Roman ballista and the Torsion springald. Children use small candies for ammunition instead of rocks. Playing with these devices introduces them to the concept of simple machines such as levers, wheels, ratchets and more. Video clip is available Here.

Water Raising Machines of the Past

We have seven different types of water lifting devices. These devices are unique, fully functional examples unlike any that can be found in a museum setting. This is an exclusive learning opportunity.Video clip is available Here

Engineering for Kids. Rolling Ball Machines

What is a rolling ball device? They are derived from ancient and medieval water and weight lifters. With the use of an Archemedes screw and spiral, a chain or a disk they lift marbles. The models are completely interactive for children to play whith.

Architecture and Construction Machines of Middle Age

Did you think everything in the Middle Ages was done painstakingly by hand? Think again! Huge blocks of stone were raised to the top of cathedrals with Machine Power! Children can explore and operate complicated machines that employ cranes and winches to lift heavy stones a floor up. Before this can be done, however, the construction area must be cleared of trees and stumps with a model Stump Puller!

Leonardo da Vinci Machines

In this interactive show, visitors will discover how Leonardo’s inventions have been transformed over hundreds of years. We have fifteen models including one of da Vinci's Aireal Screw, designed and built for four kids to "fly". It is the most truthful reconstruction of a da Vinci Helicopter and it's fully functional! Video clip is available HERE.

Also, children will create a bridge building challenge and explore a self supporting bridge designed by Leonardo Da Vinci. Be amazed by the bridge's ingenuity and simplicity!

Ancient Chinese Inventions

The history of science and technology in China is both long and rich with many contributions to world development. Invented in China between the first and third centuries, A.D., the South Pointing Chariot is one of the most complex mechanisms of the ancient world. Due to the action of Differential Gearing, the figure on top always points in the same direction regardless of which way the chariot is pulled, pushed or turned. Children will discover South Pointing Chariot and listen Chinese Legend. You can read this legend Here and watch Video

Perpetual Motion Machines

The term perpetual motion, taken literally, refers to movement that goes on forever. However, perpetual motion usually refers to a device or system that delivers more energy than was put into it. Such a device or system would be in violation of the law of Conservation of Energy, which states that energy can never be created or destroyed, and is therefore deemed impossible by the laws of physics. Our working models assist us to better explain the impossibility of Perpetual Motion. It's excellent tool to discuss first and second Laws of Thermodynamic, Hydrostatic equilibrium Law, Law of Gravity, efficiency, friction. Please, see the Video
